All-on-6 Dental Implants
All-on-6 Dental Implants in Turkey — A Full Arch of Fixed Teeth, Built to Last
Six implants. Superior load distribution. Maximum long-term stability — from £8400 per arch, including hotel and transfers.
All-on-6 is a full-arch tooth replacement system that uses six strategically placed implants to support a complete fixed bridge. For patients with sufficient bone density and those who want the highest level of implant stability available, it is the definitive full-arch solution.
More implants mean greater load distribution, a larger contact surface with the bone, and — for the right patient — a longer-lasting, more stable result than a four-implant system can offer.
This page explains who All-on-6 is for, how it differs from All-on-4, what the treatment process looks like across your days in Turkey, and what everything costs — with nothing left out.
What Is All-on-6?
Six implants. One complete fixed arch. Engineered for stability.
All-on-6 is a full-arch dental implant system in which six titanium implants are placed across the jawbone to support a complete fixed bridge of 12–14 teeth. Like All-on-4, the bridge is permanently attached — not removable, not a denture — and functions as a full set of natural-feeling teeth.
The difference from All-on-4 is in the number and distribution of the implants:
- All-on-4 uses four implants — two placed straight at the front, two placed at an angle at the back. The angled placement compensates for bone availability in the posterior jaw, making it viable in cases of significant bone loss.
- All-on-6 uses six implants — distributed more evenly across the arch, with two additional implants in the mid-arch position. This increases the total surface area bonding with the bone, distributes the load of biting and chewing across more points, and — for patients with adequate bone — produces a more rigid, more stable final structure.
Neither system is categorically superior. The right choice depends on your bone anatomy, your bite force and the clinical findings of your 3D CT scan. Your Day 2 assessment confirms which system is appropriate for you — before anything is placed.
Who is All-on-6 for?
All-on-6 is particularly appropriate for patients who:
- Have sufficient bone density and volume across the full arch — including the posterior (back) sections — to support six implants without angled placement or grafting
- Have a heavier bite or are identified as bruxists (grinders) — the additional implants distribute force more effectively under heavy occlusal load
- Want maximum long-term stability and are willing to invest in the additional implants to achieve it
- Are replacing both arches and want symmetrical, evenly distributed implant support on each
- Have been assessed and determined by their implantologist to be better served by six implants than four
All-on-6 is not recommended when bone loss is too significant for six standard implants to be placed — in those cases, All-on-4’s angled placement or zygomatic implants may be more appropriate.
Not sure whether All-on-4 or All-on-6 applies to you? The definitive answer is in your 3D CT scan — not in a consultation call. Send us your existing scans and we’ll give you an informed preliminary view.
Why Have Your All-on-6 Treatment in Turkey?
The same system. The same implant brands. A fundamentally different price.
All-on-6 at a UK specialist implant centre costs between £15,000 and £22,000 per arch. The same treatment in Turkey — Nobel Biocare or Straumann implants, zirconia bridge, five-star hotel, VIP transfers — starts from £8400 per arch.
The Nobel Biocare or Straumann implant placed in your jaw in Turkey is the same product used by your UK specialist. The same ISO-certified titanium. The same surface treatment. The same clinical protocols. The difference is operational cost — not clinical quality.

Your All-on-6 Treatment — Day by Day
All-on-6 in Turkey follows the same clinical sequence as All-on-4 — the process is identical in structure, with six implants placed rather than four. A single arch is typically completed in 6–7 days. Both arches in 6–7 days.
Before You Travel — Online Assessment
You send photos of your teeth (or dentures) and any existing X-rays or CT scans. Our implantologist reviews your case and provides a preliminary assessment of whether All-on-6 is appropriate for your bone anatomy. You receive a treatment plan, cost breakdown and indicative schedule — before you pay anything.
If you have had a recent CT scan from a UK specialist, send it. It may save you the cost of a new scan on arrival and gives us the most accurate starting point.
Day 1 — Arrival in Turkey
Your driver meets you at the airport. You’re transferred to your hotel. Your coordinator confirms your full schedule for the days ahead. No uncertainty. No navigating alone.
Day 2 — Full Clinical Assessment
The day begins with a complete diagnostic session.
- High-resolution panoramic X-ray
- 3D CT scan — the definitive assessment of bone volume, density, nerve positions and optimal implant placement across all six positions
- Full oral health examination
- Assessment of any remaining teeth to be retained or extracted
- Shade selection for the provisional and final bridge
- Confirmation of the treatment plan — including the definitive answer to All-on-4 vs. All-on-6, based on CT data
The CT scan is the decision point. If your bone anatomy supports All-on-6 as planned, treatment proceeds accordingly. If the scan reveals a clinical reason to adjust — fewer implants, different positioning, a grafting requirement — this is discussed openly before anything is placed. Your consent precedes every action.
Day 3 — Implant Placement and Provisional Bridge
Under local anaesthesia — or sedation if preferred — the implantologist places all six implants in a single surgical session.
The procedure:
- Any remaining teeth identified for extraction are removed
- The implant sites are precisely prepared at the positions confirmed by the CT scan
- Six titanium implants are placed — positioned to maximise bone contact across the full arch
- Primary stability is assessed for each implant
- Abutments are attached
- A provisional fixed bridge is secured to the abutments
You leave this appointment with a full set of fixed provisional teeth.
The provisional bridge is functional and presentable. It is not your final restoration — it is a robust temporary that allows you to eat, speak and smile normally while osseointegration takes place over the following months.
Procedure time per arch: approximately 2–4 hours. Post-procedure: mild-to-moderate swelling and soreness for 3–5 days, managed with standard pain relief and, where prescribed, a short course of antibiotics.
Day 4 — Rest and Recovery
Most patients rest at the hotel. Swelling peaks around 48–72 hours after surgery and reduces progressively from Day 2 post-procedure onwards. Cold compresses, elevation and soft foods are recommended. Your coordinator checks in. You are not alone.
Turkey is entirely enjoyable at a gentle pace — short walks, café visits, unhurried sightseeing. Your coordinator knows what suits Day 4.
Day 5 — Bridge Check and Adjustments
The implantologist reviews the provisional bridge — fit, occlusion, any pressure points. Minor adjustments are made chairside. This appointment is significantly more comfortable than Day 3 for most patients.
Day 6 — Final Review and Departure Pack
Before you fly, a final appointment confirms everything is stable, comfortable and correctly aligned.
You receive:
- Full clinical notes and X-rays from all appointments (in English)
- 3D CT scan files
- Implant brand certificates and batch numbers — one per implant, six per arch
- Written guarantee documents (implant fixtures + bridge)
- Detailed aftercare guide — diet, cleaning protocol, what to watch for
- Your implantologist’s direct contact details
- Information on your final bridge fitting (see note below)
A Note on Final Bridge Timing
The permanent zirconia bridge is fitted during a second visit, 3–6 months after implant placement, once full osseointegration is confirmed by X-ray. This is the standard clinical protocol for All-on-6 worldwide — not specific to Turkey or to us.
The second visit is 4–5 days. Hotel accommodation is included. You cover your flights.
This timeline is confirmed before you book your first visit — not disclosed afterwards.

All-on-6 vs. All-on-4 — The Price Difference Explained
All-on-6 costs more than All-on-4 because of the additional implant fixtures and abutments — two more per arch. The bridge, hotel, transfers, coordinator and guarantee terms are identical.
The additional cost per arch is from £800.
Whether this investment is clinically warranted depends on your bone anatomy and bite profile — not on preference. Your 3D CT scan gives the objective answer.
The Implants and Materials Behind All-on-6
All-on-6 is a long-term investment. What goes into the bone stays there for life. What sits above it — the bridge — should last decades. Here is what we use and why.
✦ Implant Fixtures — Nobel Biocare and Straumann
Nobel Biocare — NobelActive / NobelParallel CC Nobel Biocare implants are used in more All-on-4 and All-on-6 cases worldwide than any other brand — their systems were developed specifically for full-arch, immediate-loading protocols. In an All-on-6 case, primary stability at placement is critical: the provisional bridge is attached the same day. Nobel Biocare’s surface treatment and thread design are engineered for this.
Straumann BLX / BLT Straumann’s BLX system is specifically designed for immediate loading scenarios. Its conical body generates high insertion torque — the mechanical stability that allows the provisional bridge to be placed on the day of surgery with confidence. The Straumann BLT (Bone Level Tapered) is used in cases where tapered geometry better suits the bone anatomy.
Both systems carry our 5-year guarantee and are supplied with individual brand certificates, model numbers and batch references. These are included in your post-treatment documentation.
✦ Why Six Implants Changes the Load Dynamics
This is the core clinical argument for All-on-6 — and it is worth understanding.
A full-arch bridge — whether on four or six implants — absorbs significant force during chewing. Molar biting forces average 40–70 kg in adults. This force is transmitted through the bridge to the implants and into the bone.
With four implants, the load is distributed across four points. With six implants, the same load is distributed across six points — reducing the force per implant by approximately a third. This has two practical consequences:
- Reduced stress per implant — lower risk of bone resorption around the implant interface over time
- Reduced stress on the bridge itself — a bridge supported by six points is more rigid than one supported by four, reducing the risk of fracture at the midpoints
For patients with higher bite forces, bruxism or simply wanting the most stable structure available, this difference is clinically meaningful.
✦ Provisional Bridge — PMMA
The same high-quality PMMA (polymethylmethacrylate) acrylic used in All-on-4 cases. Lightweight, functional, comfortable. Designed to be worn during the osseointegration period — typically 3–6 months — without issue.
✦ Final Bridge — Zirconia
Your permanent bridge is fabricated from zirconia — the material of choice for full-arch fixed restorations:
- Strength: Zirconia withstands the compressive forces of full-arch biting without fracture — critical for a restoration that cannot be easily removed for repair
- Biocompatibility: Metal-free. No dark lines at the gum margin. No corrosion. No allergic reactions.
- Stability: Dimensionally stable over decades — minimal shade change, no warping
- Repairability: Zirconia bridges can be repaired or replaced by any competent dental laboratory worldwide, including in the UK
Ivoclar e.max layered zirconia is available as a premium option for patients prioritising maximum aesthetics — the layered ceramic produces greater translucency, closer to natural enamel. Ask your coordinator for details.
✦ CAD/CAM Fabrication
Your final bridge is designed digitally from scan data and precision-milled from a solid zirconia block by a CNC milling machine. The result is a bridge that fits precisely, distributes load evenly and is reproducible — its digital specifications are retained for future reference.

✦ Robert J., 59 — Southampton, UK
Treatment: All-on-6 — upper arch Previous situation: Full upper denture for nine years; sufficient bone density confirmed by CT scan Implant brand: Nobel Biocare NobelParallel CC Duration: 6 days Saved vs. UK quote: £13,000
“I’d already researched All-on-4 when my UK specialist told me my bone was good enough for six implants and recommended the six for long-term stability. The cost difference was significant in the UK — less so in Turkey. The implantologist here explained the load distribution argument clearly and I understood why six was the right choice for me. Six months on, the integration is perfect.”
✦ Linda P., 64 — Coventry, UK
Treatment: All-on-6 — both arches Previous situation: Long-term denture wearer; heavy bite confirmed by occlusal analysis Implant brand: Straumann BLX Duration: 7 days Saved vs. UK quote: £25,000
“The CT scan on Day 2 confirmed six implants per arch was right for my bone density. The procedure day was long — both arches in one session — but the team were exceptional throughout. I was uncomfortable for three days afterwards. By Day 5 I was walking around the city and eating soft food without a second thought. Three months on, both arches feel completely natural.”
✦ Michael S., 56 — Hull, UK
Treatment: All-on-6 — lower arch (upper arch treated separately with All-on-4) Previous situation: Lower arch restored with All-on-6 due to heavier posterior bite load; upper with All-on-4 due to posterior bone loss Implant brands: Lower — Straumann BLX; Upper — Nobel Biocare NobelActive Duration: 7 days Saved vs. UK quote: £23,000
“Different systems on upper and lower based on what the CT scan showed — I thought that would be unusual. The implantologist explained it was simply using the right tool for each jaw’s specific anatomy. Pragmatic. Clinical. No upselling. I trusted that completely.”
What All-on-6 Patients Say
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ — Graham E., Aberdeen, UK
“I want to give a specific, useful account. I had All-on-6 on both arches in Turkey — twelve implants total. The CT scan confirmed I had good posterior bone on both sides, making six implants per arch the right clinical choice. The procedure was performed across one day — long, but manageable with sedation. The team communicated throughout. My provisional teeth were in place when I woke from sedation. Five months later, I have my final zirconia bridges. My UK dentist has reviewed the X-rays and called the integration ‘textbook.’ Total cost including hotel for both visits: £14200 plus flights. The UK quote was £38,000.”
Treatment: All-on-6 upper and lower (Straumann BLX) · December 2025
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ — Janet O., Leicester, UK
“The honesty of the assessment process stood out. I went in expecting to be told I needed All-on-6 because I’d enquired about it. The CT scan actually showed my upper arch had some bone loss — they recommended All-on-4 for the upper and All-on-6 for the lower. They recommended a cheaper treatment for one arch than I’d asked about. That’s not something you encounter often in any commercial context.”
Treatment: All-on-4 upper + All-on-6 lower (Nobel Biocare) · September 2025
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ — Derek N., Plymouth, UK
“Day 3 was the hardest day — I won’t pretend otherwise. Twelve hours of sedation and surgery is not nothing. But the team were calm, communicative and clearly expert. By Day 5 I felt human again. The provisional teeth look extraordinary. I fly back for my final bridges in four months and I am not anxious about it in the slightest.”

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the real difference between All-on-4 and All-on-6?
The core difference is the number of implants and their distribution across the arch. All-on-4 uses four implants — two straight at the front, two angled at the back — specifically designed for cases where posterior bone is limited. All-on-6 uses six implants distributed more evenly, requiring more posterior bone but distributing load more effectively. The right choice is determined by your 3D CT scan — not by preference or budget alone. We will recommend whichever system the data supports, regardless of the price difference between them.
Can I have All-on-6 if I’ve been told I have bone loss?
It depends on the degree and location of the bone loss. Mild or moderate bone loss in one area may still allow for six-implant placement with slightly adjusted positioning. Significant posterior bone loss typically makes All-on-4 — with its angled implants — the more appropriate system. Severe generalised bone loss may require zygomatic implants. Your CT scan gives the definitive answer. Send us your existing scans and we’ll give you a preliminary view before you travel.
Is All-on-6 more painful than All-on-4?
The additional two implants add approximately 30–45 minutes to the surgical procedure. Post-operative discomfort is similarly mild-to-moderate across both systems and managed with the same medications. Most patients find the experience comparable. Sedation is available for both — and particularly recommended for dual-arch cases.
Do I have fixed teeth the same day as surgery?
Yes. The provisional bridge is attached to your implants on the day of placement — the same protocol as All-on-4. You leave the clinic with a full set of fixed teeth. They are temporary, but fixed and functional.
Why is a second visit needed for the final bridge?
Osseointegration — the process by which bone grows around and bonds with the titanium implant surface — takes 3–6 months to complete fully. The final bridge is fitted only after this process is confirmed by X-ray — ensuring it is attached to a fully integrated implant structure. Fitting the final bridge too early risks placing it on an implant that has not yet achieved full bone bonding. The second visit is 4–5 days. Hotel is included.
How do I clean All-on-6 teeth?
The same as All-on-4 — a standard toothbrush and toothpaste for the bridge surfaces, plus a water flosser or interdental brush to clean beneath the bridge where it meets the gum. The cleaning protocol takes approximately 5 minutes per day. Your aftercare guide includes specific product recommendations and a step-by-step routine.
Can I eat normally after All-on-6?
During the healing period (with provisional bridge): soft foods are recommended — avoiding hard, crunchy or chewy foods. This typically applies for 3–6 months until the final bridge is fitted. After the permanent zirconia bridge is in place: yes — a full, normal diet. Most patients eat a broader range of foods than at any point in the years preceding treatment.
What is the long-term maintenance plan?
Routine check-ups with your UK dentist every 6 months. Annual X-rays to monitor bone levels and implant integration. Occasional professional cleaning beneath the bridge. Periodic tightening of abutment screws — a quick, painless procedure. The zirconia bridge itself requires no special maintenance. With these measures, All-on-6 is a genuinely long-term restoration — clinical data supports function at 10+ years in the vast majority of cases.
What if one of the six implants fails?
The redundancy of six implants is one of the system’s practical advantages. If one implant fails to integrate fully — which is uncommon, but possible — the remaining five can often maintain the bridge structure while the failed implant is assessed and, where appropriate, replaced. Our guarantee covers individual implant failures within 5 years of placement. Full terms at Guarantee Policy.
